Washoe County Sheriff’s Office investigating shooting in Olinghouse

Washoe County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a report of a shooting in Olinghouse at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday evening, but when they arrived they were unable to find the shooter or the victim. Family members later convinced the victim to come forward, but the victim refused to cooperate with the investigation or identify the shooter.

The victim was checked by Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA paramedics, but refused any medical treatment or to be transported to a hospital.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to all the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division at 775-328-3350, or make an anonymous call to Secret Witness at 775-322-4900.
