Fernley High School football postseason honors

Fernley High School football coaches recently presented plaques and certificates to four players who were named to the 3A All-State team after last season.

In addition, the Vaqueros also had 11 players named to the Northern 3A All-East team, and of those, eight were named to the Northern 3A All-Region team.

Fernley’s honorees were:
3A All-State

Tyler Slaughter, Lineman of the Year

First team

Dominic Reyes, offensive line

Second team

Julian McIntyre, quarterback

JR Reyes, running back
Northern 3A All-East
