LCSO investigating robbery at Silver Strike Casino in Silver Springs

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two men who robbed the Silver Strike Casino in Silver Springs early Wednesday morning.

According to the LCSO, at about 4 a.m., two men armed with guns and wearing masks entered the casino and took an undisclosed amount of cash. They left the casino driving in a white colored GMC type SUV heading westbound on U.S. 50. Deputies believe they headed over USA Parkway toward Interstate 80.

One of the men was wearing a black hoodie, blue mask, blue pants and blue latex type gloves. He was carrying a semi-automatic handgun. The other man was wearing a black jacket, gray sweatshirt, white N95 type mask and black Vans type shoes.  The men were described as white or possibly Hispanic. The vehicle is described as a GMC type SUV with a roof rack and tinted windows. Detectives are currently working on photos and video surveillance.
