Guy Nohra's campaign Battle Born Tour makes Fernley stop over weekend

Guy Nohra's campaign Battle Born Tour makes Fernley stop over weekend
Guy Nohra meets with voters in Fernley, Nevada, on Sunday, March 27, as part of his campaign’s statewide Battle Born Tour.

Guy Nohra's statewide "Battle Born Tour" stopped in Fernley on Sunday at the Wigwam Restaurant and Casino. Nohra is traversing the state in his Battle Born Tour van, taking his campaign to voters where they are – in their home communities. Fernley was one of three stops for Nohra's tour on Sunday.

"It was a special opportunity to visit with such engaged and interested voters at our campaign meet and greet," said Nohra. "I heard from Fernley voters similar concerns to what I am hearing from voters on each stop of our Battle Born Tour. Voters are ready for change. They are ready for a better economy. They are looking for leadership. And they are ready for a Governor that protects their individual freedoms and works for them. That is my commitment to Nevadans. I will always have your back."

It smells like sewage and it can be bad enough that people don’t want to be outside or open their windows. It would be helpful to get an investigative journalist help the Fernley residents get a clear answer from the City, NDEP, and any involved facilities. I was really disappointed that the smell was not disclosed by my realtor when I moved here. I enjoy Fernley and am seeing the improvements that are being made. Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion. Comment publication date: 5/7/26, 10:26 AM Comment source: Storey County, Tesla partner to extend I-80 Patrick on-ramp
