Fernley Community Connections Expo to be held Sept. 25

Lyon County Human Services, the City of Fernley, and the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows have teamed up to host the first ever Community Connections Expo.

The outdoor event will be on Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Out-of-Town Park. 

Discover, connect, and explore opportunities in the Fernley community during this free interactive day for all ages and interests.

Free events include:

  • Family Fun walk/run
  • More than 45 vendor booths promoting community engagement through employment, volunteer opportunities, health and wellness education, and resource connection
  • Presentations by local community organizations
  • COVID vaccine station
  • Canine rabies vaccines 
  • Swag and takeaways
