Fernley to commemorate 20th anniversary of 9/11 attacks

In honor and remembrance of the 20^th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, and of the lives lost and the bravery of the first responders, the Nevada Veterans Coalition will host Fernley’s annual 9/11 Memorial ceremony at 8:30 a.m. at the Main St. fire station.

The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will be followed by refreshments. Parking is at the rear of the fire station and all attendees must wear a mask.
