Firefighters respond to Circle Drive fire Thursday

One person was transported to the hospital after a fire damaged a home on Circle Drive in Fernley Thursday afternoon.

North Lyon Fire crews responded to a report of a structure fire at 250 Circle Drive in Fernley. Upon arrival, they found fire outside the double wide trailer and in the attic area of the structure.

One person was transported via ambulance to the hospital for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Central Lyon Fire and Pyramid Lake Fire also responded to assist with this incident.
