Rural Democrats accepting nominations for officers

The Nominations Committee of the Rural Nevada Democratic Caucus is accepting nominations for the Rural Nevada Democratic Caucus Officer Elections that will be held on Saturday, March 6, via virtual meeting.Below is the list of officer positions that are up for the election that will take place at the virtual RNDC meeting on March 6:

  • Chair
  • 1st Vice-Chair
  • 2nd Vice-Chair
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer 

To nominate before the meeting, click on Self-Nomination Form for the link, and send the completed form to Kimi Cole via [email protected]. Nominations will be announced as they are received. Nominations should be received by Feb. 20.  If you nominate someone else, make sure you have their permission to nominate them. Any nomination forms received will be sent out to RNDC officers, county chairs, and all nominees. County chairs will be asked to forward those on to their contact lists. Also, nominations will be taken from the floor at the March 6 RNDC meeting, only in the event no advance nominations have been received for a specific position. Nominations made from the floor must have the permission of the nominee, a statement of qualifications of the nominee, and an endorsement of the nominee by another RNDC member, all in writing, and should be immediately presented via email to the RNDC Chair presiding over the meeting.
