Assembly Republicans re-elect Dr. Robin Titus as Assembly Republican Caucus Leader

Assembly Republicans re-elect Dr. Robin Titus as Assembly Republican Caucus Leader

Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter

Members of the Nevada Assembly Republican Caucus unanimously re-elected Dr. Robin Titus to be Caucus Leader for the 81st Legislative Session.

Titus was first elected to represent Nevada’s Assembly District 38 in November, 2014 and was reelected after winning the Republican primary election in June. She has represented her district in three regular and two special sessions.

“I am honored to have the continued support of my colleagues,” Titus sad. “After last legislative session, and the more recent special sessions, it was clear that we needed more Republicans in Carson City if we were going to have a balanced approach to address Nevada’s critical issues.”

Titus said Assembly Republicans have focused during the interim on holding and picking up key Assembly districts to get out of the super minority.

“The upcoming legislative session will be challenging in many ways, and there continues to be uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus pandemic,” Titus said. “From large budget shortfalls, protecting the recovery for businesses and struggling Nevada families, tackling education, healthcare issues, and navigating a redistricting process, Assembly Republicans are committed to finding common sense, balanced solutions.”

Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
