13th Lyon County COVID-19 death reported Tuesday

The Carson City Health and Human Services Quad County Emergency Operations Center reported the 13th death of a Lyon County resident with COVID-19 Tuesday.

CCHHS did not disclose the age of the person, whether it was a man or woman, or if the person had underlying health conditions.

CCHHS also reported nine new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday and 10 recoveries Tuesday.

There have been 607 total cases in Lyon County, 52 of them currently active, with 542 recoveries and 13 deaths.

CCHHS also did not provide any information about the new cases.

As of its most recent update at 6 p.m. Oct. 27, 233 total cases have been reported and 13 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.

There have now been 1,782 total cases, 1,609 recoveries and 22 deaths in the Quad-County region.
