Spooktacular treats 1,163 Trick or Treaters
Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter

More than 2,500 people attended the city of Fernley’s annual Safe Trick or Treating Spooktacular at City Hall on Monday evening, with a total of 1,163 children participating.

City employees and business sponsors set up tables to distribute candy and treats to the Trick or Treaters, and the Fernley High School marching band entertained the those lined up waiting to get inside.

Fernley Reporter photographer Joseph Maino was the official photographer for the event, taking photos of each child or family who wanted one, and those can be downloaded for free at the city’s Spooktacular Facebook page. The following are a handful of photos from the event. More photos can be viewed at https://www.facebook.com/Fernley-Spooktacular-1828573204042101/

The coin is beautiful. Congrats on 25 years as a city! Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
