Four new Lyon County COVID-19 cases, five recoveries reported Tuesday

Four new cases of COVID-19 and five recoveries in Lyon County were reported Tuesday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.

Tuesday’s new cases are a woman in her 30s with a connection to a previously reported case,, a woman in her 40s with no connection to a previously reported case, a woman in  her 20s with a connection to a previously reported case and a man in his 30s with no connection to a previously reported case.

There have been 336 total cases in Lyon County, 39 of them currently active, with 291 recoveries and six deaths.

As of its most recent update at 6 p.m. Sept. 1, 147 total cases have been reported and 21 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.

There have now been 1,032 total cases, 934 recoveries and 15 deaths in the Quad-County region.
