LCSO looking for suspects in battery

LCSO looking for suspects in battery

Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office has asked for the public’s help in finding two suspects who beat a man in a Fernley store Thursday evening.

According to the LCSO, deputies responded to the Sierra Discount Market at approximately 6:57 p.m. Thursday for a reported fight. They determined a battery had occurred inside the store but the suspect had already left before they arrived.

Deputies were able to get security camera footage of the incident, and released photos of two men they say were involved in the altercation. LCSO says deputies are looking for a mid 90s red and white Ford Bronco or a black Honda Civic.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Deputy Greenhut in reference to case number 20LY03485. Deputy Greenhut can be reached through the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center at 775-577-5023.

Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.Comment publication date: 5/7/26, 10:26 AMComment source: Storey County, Tesla partner to extend I-80 Patrick on-rampComment author: Alan ReederComment text: Great guy, laughed easily, had fun with his students, enjoyed our time together at FHS!Comment publication date: 4/23/26, 10:23 PMComment source: Howard David JacksonComment author: Jack & Nancy CookComment text: Wonderful man.
