Four new Lyon County COVID-19 cases reported Thursday

Four new cases of COVID-19 in Lyon County were reported Thursday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.

The new cases are a girl under the age of 18 with a connection to a previously reported case, a woman in her 30s with no connection to a previously reported case, a boy under the age of 18 with no connection to a previously reported case, and a man in his 60s with no connection to any previously reported case.

Lyon County has had a total of 107 confirmed cases, with 72 of them having recovered. There have been two deaths in the county due to COVID-19.

As of 6 p.m. June 24, 46 cases have been in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.

Overall, there were a total of 11 new cases in the Quad County region Monday. There have now been 315 total cases, 214 recoveries and seven deaths. Six Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
