North Lyon Fire District seeking to fill two vacant board positions

Following the resignations of two members of the board, he North Lyon County Fire Protection District is seeking candidates to fill two vacated Board of Directors positions.

The vacancies were created by the resignations of Matthew Johnson and Terrin Hicks.

Johnson submitted his resignation letter April 13 and effective July 13, stating that he is resigning because of the time and travel required by his new job.

Hicks submitted her resignation letter June 11, stating she no longer lives in the district.

Candidates must live within the boundaries of the District. Interested parties need to provide the District with a Letter of Interest no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday July 9. Appointment will be made at the Board of Directors Meeting on July 16, at 6 p.m. at 195 East Main Street, Fernley, NV 89408. For complete information call the District Office at 575-3310.
