Lyon County libraries to open June 9

Lyon County libraries to open June 9

Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter

Lyon County library staff is working to reopen all county library branches by June 9, Library Director Amy Geddes said.

Lyon County Facilities staff are installing personal protective equipment and barriers throughout County libraries to prepare for reopening. The libraries will continue curbside service until they reopen.

Lyon County Library Board of Trustees meetings will still be conducted virtually through the month of June. Lyon County Libraries will continue the use of virtual technology after June to provide users the ability to participate in Library Board of Trustees meetings.

“Lyon County Libraries are appreciative of the public’s support and understanding during these unprecedented times and look forward to getting operations back to normal,” Geddes said.

Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
