Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe chairman Anthony Sampson Friday that there have so far been four confirmed cases of COVID-19 on the reservation.
Speaking in a video posted on the Tribe’s Facebook page, urged residents to stay at home and continue social distancing, He said a curfew between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. remains in effect, although he said tribal police have only had to issue a couple of citations for curfew violations.
Sampson said the tribal clinic is testing for COVID-19 on a case-by-case basis, based on symptoms, to preserve the limited supplies it has.
