Lyon County hits 22 COVID-19 cases with two more Thursday

A woman in her 30’s and a man in his 20’s are the two latest confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lyon County.

They were among four new cases by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center, bringing the total number of cases in Lyon County to 22, and the total in the four-county region to 72.

The other two cases were a Carson City woman in her 30’s and a Carson City man in his 60’s.

There have been 25 recoveries and one death among the 72 regional cases. In Lyon County, five of the 22 patients have recovered.

There are two Quad-County residents currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
