FHS cross country fundraising run scheduled Feb. 15

The Fernley High School cross country team is preparing for its annual 5K and 2.5K fundraising run for the high school cross country program.

The 7th annual Roadhill 5K and 2.5K will be held at Fernley High School Saturday, Feb. 15 with the 2.5 K race beginning at 10 am. and the 5K race beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The 5K course is the same course that the high school team races on during its home cross country meet.

The cost for racers 18 years old and younger is $15 (with race t-shirt) or $10 (without). Adults are $25 (with race t-shirt) or $20 (without). Shirts will only be available to racers whose registration was received by Feb. 7.

If you would like to support the team, but you don’t want to race, donations are gladly accepted. Make checks payable to: FHS Cross Country. Mail to: Todd Wright, 155 Westward Ln, Fernley, NV 89408 or drop off at Fernley Elementary School. For any questions, call (775) 229-2275.
