Tintabulations Handbell Ensemble to play in Fernley Dec. 15

Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter

Ring in your yuletide celebrations with Tintabulations Handbell Ensemble.

The Reno-based group is gearing up for its Christmas concert season, including a concert in Fernley.

The Fernley performance will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 15 at First Baptist Church, at 485 E. Main St.

Their seasonal concert, 'Fa-la-la-la-la!' is filled with festive music. Fourteen talented musicians dressed in black, highlighted with a touch of green, stand behind a length of 30 feet of tables which are laden with 120 glistening bronze bells and chimes. The real magic begins with the drop of the baton by director Barb Walsh, as the bells energetically and sensitively begin soaring through the air resulting in a memorable, enchanting musical experience.

Concerts are suitable for all ages and are free of charge. Donations are gratefully accepted.

I grew up in Fernley and would be interested to see how many answers I know. The coin is beautiful. Congrats on 25 years as a city! Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
