City hosting Spooktacular Thursday

The City of Fernley will host its 13th annual Halloween Spooktacular safe trick or treat event this Thursday, Oct. 31 from 4-7 p.m. at City Hall.

Children in costume will walk down the hallways and visit the haunted city council chambers as local organizations and businesses hand out candy and goodies.

In addition, North Lyon County Fire Protection District firefighters and Lyon County Sheriff’s deputies have traditionally handed out goodies to children in the parking lot.
