Boys soccer team shuts out Yerington

With two home games remaining, the Fernley boys soccer team is closing in on its second consecutive perfect league season.

The Vaqueros defeated Yerington 7-0 last Thursday to stay unbeaten in Northern 3A League B with a 10-0 record.

Fernley hosts Dayton Saturday at 11 a.m., then will end the regular season with a home game against Yerington at 4 p.m. Oct. 30.
