Celebrating the diversity of a community is a good thing. Fernley is a great place, with industrial, city, residential and rural lifestyles. Help us in recognizing this wonderful city with a spectacular event.

The Fernley Chamber of Commerce, with the help of local sponsors, would like to invite everyone to join us the Boots & Bow-Ties Celebrating Success Gala, Feb. 9 at the Corkscrew Land & Cattle Company, 1000 Truckee Lane, for a fundraising evening of high caliber entertainment. A little bit country with a little city thrown in.

Featuring live entertainment by a local talent, Sammy Solorio as our MC and special guest Vaquera Vikki, who will be making sure we’re on the dance floor. Also featuring DJ Jeremy to keep things rockin’ and everyone moving. Plenty of cocktails and dinner catered by Roundabout Catering.

Tickets range from $80 for an individual to $2,500 for a VIP sponsor.

Join us by sponsoring the event or purchasing a ticket at www.fernleychamber.org just click on special events under event heading for links. Or call Fernley Chamber of Commerce at (775) 575-4459

The last date to purchase tickets is January 29.

I grew up in Fernley and would be interested to see how many answers I know. The coin is beautiful. Congrats on 25 years as a city! Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
