Fernley Estates Senior Living’s 2nd Annual Holiday Bazaar is the perfect place to start your holiday shopping and bring the kids for a photo with Santa Claus. The community will open its doors to the public from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1. Fernley Estates is located at 1130 Chisholm Trail, Fernley.
More than a dozen local vendors, including doTERRA Essential Oils, Perfectly Posh Bath Products, Thirty-One Gifts, and Paparazzi Jewelry, will set up shop to sell unique and affordable wares. Shoppers will have a vast selection of homemade candy and baked treats, hand-sewn table runners and napkins, crocheted blankets, hats and scarves, fashionable women’s clothing, holiday decor, wooden art and oil paintings, and delicious smelling candles, bath products and essential oils.
Fernley Estates residents are putting the finishing touches on their unique and colorful handmade Christmas ornaments to sell at the bazaar. Proceeds will benefit The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA), a fitting charity for the pet-friendly community.
Shoppers of all ages can enjoy cider and cookies and take a photo with Santa.
“The holiday bazaar is one of our community’s most anticipated holiday events,” said Tara Alto, administrator at Fernley Estates. “This year, our residents decided to use their artistic gifts to benefit a local charity they hold dear. The ornaments are colorful and beautiful, and will add a sparkle of holiday spirit wherever they find a home.”
