The Fernley Reporter

At a free workshop in Fernley, participants will discover five family strengths that really matter and learn out how to build on their own families’ assets.

The free workshop in Fernley is for parents, grandparents, and foster parents, as well as for professionals or community members seeking to support families. It takes place on September 17th from 1pm-3pm at the Fernley Intermediate School’s multipurpose room (320 Highway 95A).

To hold your spot, call Jenny at Healthy Communities at (775) 246-7550. The first 50 people to respond will be invited to come early and attend a free luncheon.

The workshop is presented by the nationally known Search Institute, and funded through Healthy Communities Coalition of Lyon and Storey Counties. For more than 50 years, Search Institute has been a leader and partner for organizations around the world in discovering what kids need to succeed.

I grew up in Fernley and would be interested to see how many answers I know. The coin is beautiful. Congrats on 25 years as a city! Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
