The Nevada Veterans Coalition will be hosting a car wash this Saturday, July 28 at the 76 Station on Main St in Fernley. All proceeds go towards Wreaths Across America.
Each December, the Veterans Coalition participates in National Wreaths Across America Day to place wreaths on the graves at Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
The Veterans Coalition raises money through donations and fundraisers, and for the past four years has purchased enough wreaths to place one on each grave in the cemetery.
This year’s Wreaths Across America will be held Dec. 15.
