The Nevada Highway Patrol will be looking for motorists and occupants who are not buckled up while traveling. Troopers, deputies, and officers will be stopping drivers for different traffic offenses and issuing citations for seatbelt violations from May 15, 2018 through May 31, 2018 throughout Northern Nevada.

Law Enforcement within the State of Nevada continues to see senseless deaths and injuries sustained from car crashes that can be avoided by simply wearing your seatbelt.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is encouraging everyone who is traveling in a motor vehicle to please buckle up. It only takes two seconds to put your seatbelt on to help save your life if you were in a motor vehicle crash. While Nevada law enforcement conducts traffic stops on a daily basis for a multitude of violations, the emphasis for these two weeks in May is “Click-It-Or-Ticket”. So, please buckle up every time.

Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
