NHP seeking additional witnesses to road rage incident on Interstate 80

The Nevada Highway Patrol is looking for witnesses who may have seen a road rage incident Tuesday on Interstate 80 between USA Parkway and Fernley.

Troopers were dispatched between 4:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. to a road rage incident on eastbound Interstate 80 between USA Parkway and Fernley involving a gold GMC Yukon XL SUV and a blue Hyundai Tucson SUV. This road rage incident led to a crash on Interstate 80 between the West Fernley and East Fernley exits.

NHP is looking for anyone that may have witnessed the incident.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is reminding motorists that these road rage type incidents can often have serious or sometimes deadly results. If you observe a motorist that is exhibiting road rage behavior, contact the Nevada Highway Patrol by dialing *NHP on your mobile device. Do not attempt to handle the situation by yourself.
