Vote for Nevada Veterans Coalition in the NV Energy Foundation Power of Good $30,000 Giveaway
The Fernley Reporter

Voting is open for the $30,000 NV Energy Foundation Power of Good Giveaway.

The Nevada Veterans Coalition is one of the more than 110 nonprofits statewide that offer programs to support active duty military or military veterans that are eligible. Customer votes will decide the winners.
Winning nonprofits will receive $15,000 in southern Nevada or $15,000 in northern Nevada. First place winners will be given $10,000, second place $3,000 and third place $2,000 in both northern and southern Nevada.

Contest voting is open from March 12 through March 16 at 11:59 PDT.

  • Round 1, March 12-14: All organizations are eligible for customer voting.

  • Round 2, March 15-16: Customer voting continues for the top 10 vote-getting organizations from Round 1 in the north and south.

  • You can vote once per day March 12-16 for the nonprofit program you would like to win the giveaway and we invite you to encourage your family and friends to vote, too.

  • Click here to cast your vote, and then return each day until March 16 to vote again.

Nonprofit organizations offering programs to support active duty military and military veterans provide vital services and resources for veterans in our service territory. This giveaway provides nonprofits the opportunity to tell their story and is intended to award excellence in programming and positive community impact.

The Power of Good Giveaway is just one of the ways the NV Energy Foundation supports hundreds of nonprofits each year. The Foundation is not funded by customers.
