Lincoln Day Dinner scheduled for Feb. 3

Lincoln Day Dinner scheduled for Feb. 3
Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter

The Lyon County Republican Central Committee (LCRCC) is holding its annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Pioneer Crossing Casino, 11 North Main Street, Yerington.

No host cocktails will begin at 5:30 p.m. and a buffet dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. There will be a 50/50 drawing, a silent auction, a live auction and a gun raffle with the chance to win any one of three different specialty guns. Winners need not be present.

The Master of Ceremonies will be Nevada Senator James Settelmeyer; the Keynote Speaker will be announced in the next few weeks. Many other federal, state and local Republican officials will be in attendance; this is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with them.

The public is invited for an evening of good food, fun and fellowship.

Tickets are $40 each and can be purchased by calling LCRCC Treasurer Anita Dayton at 775-815-2660. You may also purchase tickets on-line by visiting Eventbrite at: www.eventbrite.com. Type “Lyon County Lincoln Day Dinner” in the search bar.

Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
