Fernley Swimming Pool grand re-opening

Fernley Swimming Pool grand re-opening
A number of residents strolled through the Fernley Swimming Pool on Saturday morning during an Open House held at the facility to reveal interior renovations that were recently completed. On hand to present a proclamation from the City of Fernley was Mayor Roy Edington. The celebration included a ribbon cutting, tours of the facility and refreshments.

Fernley Mayor Ray Edgington had the honor of cutting a delicious cake to celebrate the re-opening of the Fernley Swimming Pool that was closed for about three weeks while work crews renovated the facility. Some of the upgrades includes resurfacing the pool, new carpeting, lights, new paint, new lane lines and flags. The Fernley Swimming Pool held an Open House on Saturday morning to showcase the newly renovated facility. Pool Board members and the facility director cut a ribbon to re-open the pool. The revamped facility cost an estimated $160,000, which included resurfacing the pool, new lights, carpeting, paint and new lane lines. Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
