LCSO asks public help in finding missing Fernley woman

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing Fernley woman.

Nancy Vandenput, 57, was last seen in the Jason Court area of Fernley around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and has not been seen or heard from since.

She was seen driving a silver 2006 Chevrolet pickup with Nevada license plate VM3783. There is also a USMC Bulldog sticker on the rear of the truck.

Vandenput is known to have ties to the Reno area.

Vandenput is a white female, approximately 5-feet-4 inches tall and weighs 101 pounds. She has green eyes and wears glasses, and has sandy blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a flannel jacket of unknown color. No further clothing information is available.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking for anyone who may know the whereabouts or other information regarding Vandenput to contact dispatch (Agency Case 04741) at (775) 364-6620, or contact Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900or www.secretwitness.com.
