Artisan Communities features new Southwest Meadows subdivision

Artisan Communities is offering four different floor plans to choose from in its new Southwest Meadows community off U.S. 95A across from Fernley High School.

Two of the models were on display when Artisan Communities held a Grand Opening and Open House on Sept. 16 to show its newest subdivision and the homes that are available.

Sales consultant Terry Craig said the subdivision will have 112 homes when it is complete, and 14 of those were already done, with several others in various stages of construction.

The homes in Southwest Meadows range from 1,421 to 2,191 square feet, all with a three-car garage option.

The subdivision also includes a neighborhood park. Craig said the neighborhood includes a landscape association, to which each homeowner will pay $19 to maintain the park and common areas.

Southwest Meadows is the company’s third community in Fernley, said broker Laura York.

The Meadows, behind Round Table Pizza, includes 40 homes ranging from 1,785 to 2,000 square feet, while Sage Ranch Estates, located off Sage St., includes homes ranging from 1,800 to 3,000 square feet on one-acre lots.
