Planning group names Edgington Elected Official of the Year

Fernley Mayor Roy Edgington has been named Elected Official of the Year by the Nevada Chapter of the American Planning Association.

The is given to an individual elected to local, state, or national office who has advanced or promoted the cause of planning Nevada

Edgington will receive this award on Wednesday, Oct. 4 during the 2017 Annual Conference of the Nevada Chapter of the American Planning Association during its annual NVAPA DeBoer Awards Luncheon (12:30-2 p.m.). The conference/luncheon will be held in the Ballrooms at the Carson Nugget in Carson City.
