They have played the first two weeks of the season without Jett Caudle, their leading returning scorer from last season. In his stead, freshman Bryce Stephens is leading the Vaqueros in scoring with 16.2 points per game, with junior Johnnie Williams second at 11.8 points per game. Senior Jake Cumming is leading the team in rebounding with 6.5 per game.

With only two starters back from last season, the Vaqueros have and extremely young roster, with two freshmen.

“We’re playing a lot of guys who lack varsity experience,” coach Cade Knutson said.
