The Fernley Reporter

Truckee Gaming, LLC announced Jan. 8 that it has completed the acquisition of three casinos and additional land owned by Pioneer Crossing Casinos, LLC.

The casinos are the Pioneer Crossing Casino in Dayton; the Pioneer Crossing Casino in Fernley; and the Pioneer Crossing Casino in Yerington.

Truckee Gaming received Nevada gaming commission approval and closed on the acquisition on Dec. 21, 2017.

“The acquisition allows us to continue our focus on providing exceptional value and service to our patrons in the rapidly-growing northern Nevada market. We look forward to continuing the growth of our platform and welcoming the hardworking employees at the Pioneer properties to our team,” said Ferenc Szony, CEO of Trucking Gaming, LLC.

Truckee Gaming obtained financing from Mutual of Omaha Bank (MOB) and Global Leveraged Capital (GLC) Investment Advisors (GLCIA), LLC to support additional growth and working capital.

“These are three great Nevada communities poised for exciting growth, and we are excited to be a part of it,” Szony said. “With their success in economic development and the resurgence of mining and other industries, we are incredibly optimistic about Dayton, Fernley and Yerington.”

Ashan Perera, Mutual of Omaha Bank’s head of Gaming & Corporate Banking said, “We are pleased to continue our long relationship with Truckee Gaming, Ferenc and GLC.”

“GLC looks forward to continuing to support Truckee Gaming and its great management team as it integrates the Pioneer Crossing Casinos,” said Thomas Benninger, Managing Partner at GLC.

Imperial Capital served as exclusive financial advisor to Pioneer Crossing Casinos, LLC, on the sale.

Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.Comment publication date: 5/7/26, 10:26 AMComment source: Storey County, Tesla partner to extend I-80 Patrick on-rampComment author: Alan ReederComment text: Great guy, laughed easily, had fun with his students, enjoyed our time together at FHS!Comment publication date: 4/23/26, 10:23 PMComment source: Howard David JacksonComment author: Jack & Nancy CookComment text: Wonderful man.
