The City of Fernley Public Works staff is currently assisting with storm recovery efforts and clean up along Farm District Road. Approximately 18 power poles were knocked down on Farm District Road due to Monday evening’s storm. If residents have any concerns of imminent danger or flooding, please call the Public Works Main Line at 775-784-9910.
Portions of Farm District Road will remain closed as NV Energy continues with their work, and as NDOT continues clean up measures along the road. The City is asking residents for their assistance and patience, please be cautious and aware of utility crews, NDOT, and City staff working in the affected area.For those residents who are still without power, NV Energy is anticipating power to be restored by Wednesday morning.
