Mayor Neal McIntyre delivered the State of the City address on Feb. 28 in a special event at the Fernley Senior Center. A crowd of about 100 was on hand as McIntyre highlighted the city’s accomplishments of the past year and looked ahead to the future. McIntyre also urged Fernley residents to get involved in helping to determine Fernley’s future, by joining or volunteering with community service organizations and participating in public workshops that will be held to get public input on what future development should look like.
