Two new Lyon County COVID-19 case, one recovery reported Thursday

Two new cases of COVID-19 and one recovery in Lyon County were reported Thursday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.

The new cases announced Thursday were a boy under the age of 18 with no connection to a previously reported case and a woman in her 30s with a connection to a previously reported case.

There have been 123 total cases in Lyon County, with 93 recoveries and two deaths.

As of 6 p.m. June 29, 57 cases have been in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.

In all, there were seven new cases and three recoveries in the Quad-County region Thursday. There have now been 361 total cases, 258 recoveries and seven deaths in the Quad-County region. Ten Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
