Six new Lyon County COVID-19 cases, three recoveries reported Tuesday

Six new cases of COVID-19 and three recoveries were reported Tuesday by the Quad County Emergency Operations Center.

There have been 420 total cases in Lyon County, 50 of them currently active, with 363 recoveries and seven deaths.

The new cases are:

  • A man in his 40s with no connection to a previously reported case.
  • A man in his 40s with no connection to a previously reported case.
  • A woman in her 40’s with a connection to a previously reported case.
  • A man in his 20s with a connection to a previously reported case.
  • A woman in her 20s with a connection to a previously reported case.
  • A woman in her tens with a connection to a previously reported case.

As of its most recent update at 6 p.m. Sept. 23, 180 total cases have been reported and 19 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. There have now been 1,254 total cases, 1,120 recoveries and 16 deaths in the Quad-County region.
