The man charged with kidnapping Naomi Irion is now facing open murder and other charges as well.
Troy Driver was charged April 1 with additional charges of open murder with use of a deadly weapon, robbery, burglary and destruction of evidence. He was initially arrested March 25 on a charge of kidnapping in the first degree, for which he appeared via video in Canal Township Justice Court on March 30.
Irion was kidnapped March 12 from the Walmart parking lot. Her body was found March 29 and identified as Irion March 30, shortly after Driver appeared in justice court, where his bail was set at $750,000.
He remains in the Lyon County jail in Yerington and is scheduled to appear in justice court again April 5.
