One new confirmed case of COVID-19 in Lyon County was reported Friday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.
The new case is a woman in her 20’s and is Lyon County’s 29th confirmed case. Of those, 12 have recovered.
There were also two new cases reported in Carson City and one in Douglas County, as well as three new recoveries in Carson City and one in Douglas County. The total in the Quad-County region is now 96 confirmed cases, 50 recoveries, and one death.
There are still 45 active cases in the Quad-County region, and five of those patients are hospitalized.
All appointments for the community-based COVID-19 testing for those without symptoms have been booked. The registration line is no longer taking appointments. Testing begins May 5.

Will they give the numbers for the towns and not just Lyon county? Everyone else is giving breakdowns by zip codes or towns.
