One new confirmed case of COVID-19 and four recoveries from previously confirmed cases in Lyon County have been reported Thursday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.
The new case is a woman in her 20’s and is Lyon County’s 28th confirmed case. Of those, 12 have now recovered.
There was also one new case reported in Carson City, a woman in her 70’s, and one recovery, bringing the total in the Quad-County region to 92 confirmed cases, 46 recoveries, and one death.
There are now 45 active cases in the Quad-County region, and four of those patients are hospitalized.
As of April 28, approximately 1,485 tests had been performed by all providers within the Quad-Counties.
