Nine Lyon County COVID-19 cases, 17 recoveries reported Wednesday, six cases, eight recoveries Thursday

The Quad County Emergency Operations Center reported nine new cases of COVID-19 and 17 recoveries Wednesday, as well as six cases and eight recoveries on Thursday

There have been 575 total cases in Lyon County, 61 of them currently active, with 502 recoveries and 12 deaths.

The new cases reported by Quad County EOC are:

As of its most recent update at 6 p.m. Oct. 22, 225 total cases have been reported and 16 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. There have now been 1,687 total cases, 1,490 recoveries and 21 deaths in the Quad-County region.
