Five COVID-19 recoveries reported Saturday

The Quad-County Emergency Operations Center reported five recoveries from previous cases of COVID-19 in Lyon County Saturday, and no new cases in the county.

Lyon County’s total remains at 91 confirmed cases, with 66 of them having recovered. There have been two deaths in the county due to COVID-19.

As of 6 p.m. June 11, 41 of Lyon County’s cases have been in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC.

In the Quad County region were six new cases Saturday, three in Carson City and three in Douglas County. There have now been 252 total cases, 184 recoveries and seven deaths in the region, and eight Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
