Fernley to commemorate 20th anniversary of 9/11 attacks

In honor and remembrance of the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, and of the lives lost and the bravery of the first responders, the Nevada Veterans Coalition will host Fernley’s annual 9/11 Memorial ceremony at 8:30 a.m. at the Main St. fire station.

The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will be followed by refreshments. Parking is at the rear of the fire station and all attendees must wear a mask.
