CCHHS reports second Lyon County coronavirus case

Carson City Health and Human Services reported four new cases of COVID-19 I the Quad County region Wednesday morning including the second confirmed case in Lyon County.

The new Lyon County case is a female in her 70’s, and like the first case, it was not specified where in Lyon County the patient lives. CCHHS said she is self-isolating at home and is in stable condition.

The other new cases are a male Carson City resident in his 50s, an 18-year old male in Carson City with close contact to a confirmed case, and a Carson City woman in her 40’s.

That brings the total in the Quad County region to 16. That total includes eight in Carson City, six in Douglas County, two in Lyon County and none in Storey County.
