Back to School – Fernley Intermediate School
Dear Falcon Families,
Welcome to Fernley Intermediate School. We are looking forward to another great year! School starts at 8:25 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. (Mon-Thur) and will dismiss one hour early every Friday at 2:15 p.m. for teacher collaboration.
Thursday, August 11, 2016 -FIS Back to School Night/Class Rosters Posted
- 5th grade 5-5:30 p.m. in FIS gym, 5th grade classrooms open at 5:30-6 p.m.
- 6th grade 6-6:30 p.m. in FIS gym, 6th grade classrooms open at 6:30-7 p.m.
Advertisements- Parking may be an issue, please consider the front parking lot as well as behind the gym
- Please note that this is meet the teacher night and not a parent conference, my wish is that all parents get to meet their wonderful teacher and our teachers meet their exceptional students.
- Food Services, Transportation, Healthy Communities and Fallon Naval Station Air Station will have tables and information available.

Friday, Aug, 26, 2016-No School- Teacher Professional Development Day
Bus Schedules will be available at back to school night, posted outside of the office the week of Aug. 10 and available on our website as soon as they are finalized.
Our general supply list is not required and is posted on the FIS website.

These items are suggestions only. Some teachers may have additions to this supply list. If additional specific supplies are needed, your child’s teacher will send the supply list home during the first week of school.
