Three arrested in multi-state stolen property investigation

Three people were arrested Wednesday and charged with possessing stolen property and drug charges as part of an investigation into the possession of stolen property.

Alexandra Curran, 29 of Fernley, Dixie Vreeken, 39, of Reno and Evan Parker, 37, of Fernley were arrested after deputies from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office investigations division served a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of Stone Creek Court in Fernley.

During the search, detectives recovered more than $200,000 of stolen property that had been reported stolen from Henderson, Nev., Truckee, Calif., Scottsdale, Ariz., Cedar City, Utah and Washoe County. The stolen property included numerous items of sports memorabilia, collectible cards, artwork and jewelry.

Curran was charged with possession of stolen property over $100,000, possession of personal identifying information of others, possession of more than 14 grams of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $96,140.

Vreeken was charged with possession of less than 14 grams of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,640.

Parker, who was already in custody in the Lyon County jail on unrelated charges, was charged with possession of stolen property over $100,000, possession of personal identifying information of others, ex-felon in possession of a firearm and possession of burglary tools.
