WNC listed among top community colleges for technical education

The Fernley Reporter

Charlotte, N.C. – In findings published at Right-Click, Western Nevada College was found to be among the top community colleges preparing locals for postsecondary education.

Backed by data from the USDA Economic Research Service and the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), data analysts at Right-Click ranked more than 3,200 counties in the U.S. to determine which counties are doing a great job of preparing their residents for the workforce without requiring them to get a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
